Leonardo DiCaprio hangs with sexy blondes on Set

This isn't the first time we've seen Leonardo DiCaprio on a yacht with two hot blondes, but on this occasion, it's for work.

The real-life ladies' man was spotted on set of a yacht on Monday, shooting scenes for Martin Scorsese's new movie The Wolf of Wall Street. Dressed as a preppy finance guy, DiCaprio was joined by another familiar face.

Also aboard was Friday Night Lights star Kyle Chandler, who was all suited up, a far cry from his casual attire as Coach Taylor.

The new film, not set to hit theaters until 2013, is about a New York stockbroker who refuses to cooperate in a large securities fraud case involving corruption on Wall Street, the corporate banking world and mob infiltration.

While DiCaprio is canoodling with these models on set, he has his own blonde off screen. The actor, 37, is reportedly dating 23-year-old Victoria's Secret model Erin Heatherton.

Zachary Quinto in OUT MAGAZINE

NEWS -CINEMA-MUSIC-CELEBRITY-WORLD

Via Glooce

In Out’s October cover story, actor Zachary Quinto opens up.
“One of the most defining conversations that I had with myself was that absolutely no good can come from me staying quiet about [my sexuality]. Literally, no good can come from it. But if I take the step to make the acknowledgment and be honest, so much good could potentially come from it,” Quinto tells Aaron Hicklin.
Quinto also confirms that he is currently sharing his life with actor Jonathan Groff. He does draw a line in talking about his private life, but he reveals: “I’m incredibly happy, I’m incredibly lucky.”

Read the full story, “Star Man,” here.

Does he regret not taking the opportunity to set the record straight in a 2010 New York Times interview, when he deflected a reporter by saying he wasn’t interested in discussing his sleeping arrangements? “No, not at all, absolutely not, because I wouldn’t have initiated it,” he says. “I knew very fundamentally, inside, that it had to be initiated and executed by me, and me alone.” This turns out to be something of a recurring theme: generating initiative, being prepared, taking control -- in short, owning it. When he came out to his mother, it was from a similar sense of imperative.
“I needed it to happen,” he says. “Otherwise, I couldn’t move forward authentically. Ultimately, I think the only thing that really drives me in life, continually, is a pursuit of authenticity of experience -- of myself.”

---
Quinto has been talking about doing more theater, and is in the midst of extolling the genius of John Cameron Mitchell’s East German transgender singer, Hedwig — a role he has a burning ambition to play on stage — when I feel compelled to interrupt.
“That’s surprising to me,” I say.
“Why are you surprised by that?”
“Because Hedwig is so unequivocally queer in its sensibilities, not just gay.”
“I love that about it — it spoke to that part of me, that queer part of me that doesn’t always have the chance to express or reveal itself,” he replies. “That’s what excites me as an artist.”

---
Right now, the man he is sharing his life with is the actor Jonathan Groff, and although this is where he draws the line between what’s private and what’s public, he says, “I’m incredibly happy, I’m incredibly lucky,” and we agree to leave it there.
Quinto says that lately he’s learned to slow down just a little. “I was never able to stop and just think, I’ve got a lot to be thankful for,” he says. “In the last year, I’ve gotten to a point where I feel so fulfilled, even though it doesn’t stop me from wanting to expand on that and do other things.”

---
Although Quinto says he’s chosen not to let his father’s death define him negatively, he thinks the loss he experienced found expression in his early relationships. “I found myself in a pattern of being attracted to people who were somehow unavailable, and what I realized was that I was protecting myself because I equated the idea of connection and love with trauma and death,” he says. “I had to do a lot of work on the couch to really get to a place where I was able to show up to a relationship with someone who was actually capable of being in one — and that took a lot of trial and error. And I’m still working on all that stuff — that will never stop. But I definitely want kids… I want to share.”

---
In the last six months he has expended a lot of energy campaigning for Obama, and his Twitter feed (more than half a million followers) reads like a daily call-to-action. He considers the election in November the most important in his lifetime. “It boggles my mind that there are so many extreme, Christian organizations that are adopting a stance against homosexuality with such vitriol and hatred and targeted aggression that goes against the tenets of the Christian faith,” he says. “The hatred that people are leading with in this discussion is really, for me, the biggest symptom of how sick we are. It’s the thing that makes me look at our culture and think, We are so far afield of any sort of connectivity or truth in relationship to one another.” He pauses. “I don’t want this to be too soapboxy,” he says.

---
Quinto is supremely self-aware, perhaps as a result of losing his father to cancer at the age of seven and having to renegotiate his relationship to the world. Although he describes his childhood fondly, in idyllic terms -- “running around in the woods, and playing on my bike, setting out on adventures” -- it’s clear that his father’s death threw his world off balance. “As well-intentioned as my family was, and our immediate friends, I don’t think anyone knew how to talk to a seven-year-old at that time,” he says. “My mother was, understandably, eviscerated, and my brother, who was 14, was impacted in a very different way, because he was at the pinnacle of fishing trips and camping trips with my dad.”

---
One unexpected and happy consequence of playing Spock has been Quinto’s relationship with Leonard Nimoy, who had a cameo in the 2009 film. “I have such deep admiration and love for him,” Quinto says. “He’s an incredible man, and I’m so grateful that not only did I have this amazing creative experience, but that I developed this relationship with Leonard and his wife, Susan -- we go to dinner, we hang out, we go to the theater, we spend time together.”
---

Often he thinks about the life his father led. “He was really, really badass and confident and sexy and intelligent and sensitive and curious,” he says. “For years after he died, people would go out of their way to let me know how much he meant to them. And every time I heard it I was always so grateful to him for living that life. Now that I’m older, I know it’s because that’s what matters -- the things people can tell your child about you -- and I realize my father gave something really special to me even though he wasn’t here to give it to me in person.”

Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds Married: 8 New Details From the Top-Secret Wedding

NEWS -CINEMA-MUSIC-CELEBRITY-WORLD

Via Glooce

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds exchanged vows in front of about 70 guests Sunday night at the Boone Hall Plantation in Mt. Pleasant, S.C., according to PEOPLE.

Following the ceremony, the one-year-old couple held their wedding reception in a white tent on the antebellum plantation just outside of Charleston.

As all the details surface, what’s now known about the top-secret surprise ceremony?

Reynolds, 35, and Lively, 25 — who costarred together in 2011′s Green Lantern — have been nesting in their Bedford, N.Y., home since they purchased the estate earlier this year. The couple has mostly laid low since they first started dating, and have spent a lot of time with their families, locally, and in Reynolds’ native Canada.

This marks Reynolds’ second marriage. He was previously wed to actress Scarlett Johansson, whom he officially divorced from in 2011. Lively, meanwhile, has hooked up with everyone from Leonardo DiCaprio to her Gossip Girl co-star Penn Badgley.

So what is known about the couple’s surprise under-the-stars wedding?

1. The pair managed to get their picture-perfect day in order in just one month’s time. Lively reportedly asked for days off from the Gossip Girl set just three weeks ago.

2. The couple took precautions to keep the hush-hush nuptials under wraps; guest were required to check their cell phones.

3. The guests were treated to a $3,000 wedding cake, baked by Maggie Austin Cakes, that was transported from Maryland, according to the NY Daily News. The minister also crossed state lines for Lively and Reynolds’s big day, too — he was flown in from Connecticut.

4. Lively walked down the aisle in Chanel, and Reynolds was suited up in a Hugo Boss tuxedo. The bride and groom vowed for forever with wedding bands designed by Manhattan jewelry designer Lorraine Schwartz.

5. Following the ceremony in the plantation’s Cotton Docks, Florence Welch (of Florence + the Machine) belted out a three-song set and Bette Midler serenaded the crowd before a deejay took over tunes for the evening, according to E! News.

6. The food may have been catered locally in the Charleston-adjacent town. “I am being told … that a local restaurant may have catered it,” Kelly Gukanovich of local radio station 95.1 FM told E! News.

7. Christian Louboutin was also in the Southern town over the weekend. A local tweeted, “Spotted: @LouboutinWorld in Charleston! Welcome to the city! #designers”

8. The Boone Hall Plantation released a statement on Facebook Monday morning denying requests for comment on the wedding. “We are receiving a number of inquiries this morning. From time to time Boone Hall Plantation hosts celebrity events. We respect the privacy of the individuals involved at these events. We thank you for your inquiries,” it wrote.

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds officially married!!

NEWS -CINEMA-MUSIC-CELEBRITY-WORLD

It's been nearly a year since they were first publicly linked – but are Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds husband and wife?

According to a Tweet by Charleston, S.C., radio station 95.1 FM, the pair, linked since October 2011, got married in town at "the Cotton Docks" at Boone Hall Plantation in Mt. Pleasant, S.C., just outside of downtown Charleston.

And a source told PEOPLE that the two, whom sources spotted in town having dinner with Bette Midler earlier in the weekend, were in South Carolina to get married.

On Sunday evening, a big event did indeed take place in a white tent at the plantation, and Florence Welch (of Florence and the Machine), a good friend of the Gossip Girl star, performed three songs live at a reception. PEOPLE also confirmed that a cake was being driven down from Virginia for the event.

Lively's mother and sister were also spotted in town.

Reps for the two actors have yet to comment, though they did shoot down rumors earlier in the summer that the two had married.

Lively and Reynolds have been in nesting mode since buying a home in Bedford, N.Y., earlier this year. They have subsequently been seen working out together at a local gym, as well as spending quality time with their families in New York and Vancouver, where Reynolds, PEOPLE's 2010 Sexiest Man Alive, was born.

The two, who costarred together in 2011's Green Lantern, have stayed relatively mum about their relationship, though Lively, 25, did tell Marie Claire this summer, "It's definitely attractive when a man can dress well."

Reynolds, 35, was previously married to Scarlett Johansson. The couple divorced in 2010 after two years of marriage.

This would be the first marriage for Lively, who previously dated her Gossip Girl costar Penn Badgley.

James Gandolfini Reunites With 'Sopranos' Gang in Nickelodeon Movie

NEWS -CINEMA-MUSIC-CELEBRITY-WORLD

Via Glooce

James Gandolfini will relish the memory of "The Sopranos" on the set of Nickelodeon TV movie "Nicky Deuce". The Emmy-winning actor will join fellow Sopranos alums Michael Imperioli, Tony Sirico and Vincent Curatola in the project based on children's book co-written by Sopranos' Steve Schirripa.

According to Deadline, Gandolfini is set to take the role of Bobby Eggs, a two-bit guy from the neighborhood who gets unintentionally "scrambled" by the young Nicky. Played by Noah Munck, the titular character is a nerdy, over-protected teen who gets caught in the adventure of a lifetime when he is sent to Brooklyn, NY to spend the summer with an uncle (Schirripa) and other members of his Italian American family he never knew he had.

Confronted with some questionable dealings, Nicky uncovers family secrets and learns that the mean streets of Brooklyn aren’t always what they seem.

Filming has begun in Montreal. The TV movie is set to premiere next year on Nickelodeon and Canada's YTV.

Daniel Craig Signs On For 2 More Bond Films After Skyfall

NEWS -CINEMA-MUSIC-CELEBRITY-WORLD

Via Glooce

Daniel Craig as a blue steel-eyed James Bond captured the spy’s cold and ruthless manner (as described by creator Ian Fleming) in Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace. However, absent was the swagger and dry air of sophistication that Craig’s predecessors brought to the role, in varying amounts. The character had become less a suave agent carrying out his orders for queen and country, more a morally-compromised killing machine whose disillusionment recalls Matt Damon as Jason Bourne – rather than Sean Connery as 007 going back to Dr. No.

It’s for those reasons that Craig’s run as James Bond has been heralded by some, decried by others. Earlier this year, Bond series producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson announced their interest in locking Craig down to portray 007 for the next decade (or, rather, five films) following the release of Skyfall this November. That public revelation rallied masses of Craig supporters and detractors alike – prompting arguments about just what, exactly, makes for a good screen version of the character (and whether or not Craig has it).

That was well before marketing got properly underway for Skyfall, with trailers and behind-the-scenes footage suggesting that director Sam Mendes’ promises to deliver a proper Bond movie (as he puts it, “a big fabulous escapist movie” for the 21st century) are more than just hot air. Craig remains physically-fierce and hardened in the face as ever, but his 007 appears to undergo a humbling metamorphosis in Skyfall, evolving from a glorified thug (armed with a gun and a license to kill) into a classier, but still deadly, government employee. Hence, the overall reception could be more positive for today’s announcement that Craig has worked out a deal to return as 007 for two additional films after Skyfall.

MI6 is confirming the new contract for Craig, but points out there’s a precedent for Bond actors dropping their commitment early – as happened with both Connery and Timothy Dalton. Moreover, EON Productions heads are said to have enjoyed the non-aggressive production timeline for the 23rd Bond film, resulting from a prolonged break between Quantum of Solace and Skyfall (as a result of MGM’s financial woes). That could mean the studio will be less inclined to adhere to a rigid two-year break between installments from hereon out – and, if an extended delay were to occur, it could encourage Craig to walk away prematurely after just one more Bond film.

However, there are currently no signs that EON Productions has plans to do that, seeing how it’s already gone and set screenwriters to begin developing the next two Bond films starring Craig. The actor has let it be known he does not intend to take on another role until after the new year – and the slow progress on David Fincher’s The Girl Who Played with Fire adaptation (where Craig would reprise his role as investigative journalist Mikael Blomkvist) ensures the actor won’t have any other priorities demanding his attention in the foreseeable future.

Are you excited to see Craig play James Bond for (at least) two more films?

Skyfall opens in U.S. theaters on November 9th, 2012.
