Johnny Depp is currently filming the upcoming flick Lucky Them in the Seattle area, and he surprised small-town fans when he serenaded locals in the town of Carnation while taking a break from work.

The 49-year-old actor apparently had no qualms about interacting with his starstruck locals, looking relaxed and content as he played guitar and posed for pics.

Local reports suggest Depp was filming at a small lodge near the town, located in the Snoqualmie Valley and boasting a population of fewer than 2,000, when he decided upon the impromptu performance.

John Stamos Teams Up with The Black Keys

Uncle Jesse Drums on the Keys' New Album, Calls Patrick Carney an 'Inspiration'

Following the success of their last grammy-winning album, El Camino, The Black Keys are really "reaching for the stars" on their new album follow up, and one of those stars include Full House's Uncle Jesse, aka John Stamos, reports MTV News.

"We're working with John Stamos," Carney of the Keys said. "He's actually performing the drums on our album."

You got it babe..."Uncle Jesse" will be drumming his way into The Black Keys newest album.

Stamos, known as the cool, impressively-coiffed "Uncle Jesse" on Full House, has been an on-and-off drummer for the Beach Boys for several years, according to Elmore Magazine. He also showcased his musical talents on the 1990's hit sitcom by playing random cameos with his on-tv band Jesse and the Rippers.

John Stamos tweeted at Patrick Carney of The Black Keys on February 19th:

Although Stamos may think Carney is an "inspiration", according to recent news, most beliebers would have to disagree. Justin Bieber fans lashed out against the drummer for his negative comments about their pop idol after the Grammys a few weeks back.

"Grammys are for, like, music," Carney said. "Not for money ... and he's making a lot of money. He should be happy, I guess."

Once Bieber responded by saying that Carney needs to be "slapped around" a little, Beliebers had Justin's back and took to Twitter with rage. Youngins tweeted insults at Carney, prompting the Grammy-winning musician to take on a fake Bieber profile for his own Twitter page, according to Daily News.

He changed his name to Justin Bieber, though he kept the "@patrickcarney" handle, with a profile description that reads "official twitter for the actual verified Justin Bieber DOS virtual buddy."

Moving past the recent Justin drama, The Black Keys refocus on what's most important, their music. In addition to addition Stamos to their new album, the Keys will also be re-teaming with frequent collaborator Brian "Danger Mouse" Burton on their new album, according to MTV.

The other Black Keys member, Dan Auerbach, explained in a previous interview a few months back, "We're going to start making the new album in the second week of January and we're hoping to have it done by some time in March ... The record isn't written yet, we'll do it when we get into the studio. This is when we both work best, when we're dying to make an album. All of our records take place in the studio, in that we make stuff up while we're there."

After playing a series of shows in April and May with special guests The Flaming Lips, according to Spin.com, they will reportedly take the summer off.

As for John Stamos, besides drumming on the Keys new album, after stints on ERGlee, and The New Normal in the last few years, Stamos is set to star in NBC's I Am Victor, a drama about "a high powered divorce attorney with a unique view of relationships," as noted by Vulture.

We look forward to seeing and hearing the latest from tv's best looking uncle..."have mercy!"

Interview with Dermot Mulroney

NEWS -CINEMA-MUSIC-CELEBRITY-WORLD

via glooce

Thanks for joining us today! Can you tell us the story of how you came to join the cast of Enlightened?

I was thrilled when I got a call from my agent in regards to playing the role of Jeff. I was really happy because I had watched the show. I was already a fan. Then I met with Mike and Laura who I had recently met before that, and then I got the part.

Enlightened has made a big impact on me, what kind of impression do you think this show is giving on corporate america and workers?

In this day and age, we're all kind of "on" to these people. I haven't seen a tv show about it yet, but I think in recent years, consumer tend to be more savvy and more aware of the impact these companies have on their environment or on their economics. In other words, I think this show appeals to people because pretty much everyone distrusts corporate America, we've learned by now.

Do you prefer working in TV or film? What’s your favorite aspect of each?

I like acting in anything. Television, however, is cool because you can develop a character, or even while you'er playing the character in one scene, you might not know what's coming up. I'm accustomed to knowing the whole story from a screenplay. So it's fun to have the character reveal itself. Enlightened in many ways was like working on both, the best of television and the best of film. The directors that came in to direct the episodes that Mike didn't do was fantastic. The whole feel of it was like filming a movie.

How did the SNL skit come about?

I have no idea. I have no idea. They just called out of the blue on the Thursday and everything got kind of hazy for a day and a half, and then I found myself standing in that famous studio in New York. They approached me with the script already written, as you see it. That name confusion has been hovering around for a long time, so they were playing off that.

Outside of Enlightened, what have been some of your favorite projects?

Recently I enjoyed working on New Girl. That was last year as well, so between Laura Dern and Zooey Deschanel, I really had the creme of the crop. In the fall I completely work on a movie called August: Osage County, starring Meryl Streep and Julia Roberts, Chris Cooper, Benedict Cumberbatch, a great ensemble cast. That was also a fantastic job, very rewarding.

What's your most embarassing acting moment? Do you like to watch your work?

Not knowing my lines in a scene with Holly Hunter, terrible. I learned my lesson that day. Only recently did I start watching my work. You end up having to see the movie a couple times right when it comes out. It's okay, it's not great, it's kind of nervewracking. It can be no fun at all, sometimes.

As an actor, you're constantly in the spotlight. How does that influence you as a person?

I consider myself pretty lucky for being able to navigate the real world without having to behave in any certain kind of way. People are cool in Los Angeles, they're used to it. Everyone's always really cool to me, I'll be stopped by people to take a photo, but more often in other cities in the US.

Why do you think Jeff and Amy make a good match? Or why don’t they?

I think they make a terrific match. I pictured Jeff as a guy who would be in perpetual motion, so he was never going to stay very long. My take is that they are very respectful of one another, want to leave their mark on culture, so they had a good little run there. That is in my opinion. Maybe he's a little blunt when he breaks up with her.

What drew you to Enlightened? You said you were a fan before, how did you discover it ?

The first I became aware of it was from a poster around town with Laura Dern in a state of dishevelment, so I tuned in right from the very first episode.

You are in such good shape. What's your fitness regime like?

I eat more healthy now than I ever have, so that's a lot of it. And I go to the gym, stay fit that way. No real routine.

How do you pick your roles? What qualities do you look for in a character or a script?

I like just about any type of movie so I'm interested in everything. I'm also curious about what my next role is going to be, it's always an adventure.

Amy's on a journey of growth. What advice would you give to a person who wants to achieve growth, but is anxious to change?

I noticed recently about Amy from watching the show, how naive she really is. So I'm hoping that she retains the qualities of wonder that being naive can have, but lose the gullible innocent victim part of being naive. She's almost there, it's been really fun to watch. Her heart is in the right place. She's just got to work on her delivery system.

What was your first day on the set of Enlightened like?

It seemed pretty relaxed. I knew both Laura and Mike just a little bit, so they made me feel right at home. I had met Laura a really long time ago, so it was a nice way in to it feeling like we were meeting for the first time.

Co-creators Mike White & Laura Dern both seem to have such a passionate relationship with this project. What's it like working with the two?

Mike and Laura make a great team. They're very dedicated workers. When you're with them on the set, you get a sense they're on some sort of mission, it's very inspiring to work with both of them and to see how they work with one another.

Some actors say they have difficulties shooting scenes in which their characters laugh. What kind of scenes are difficult for you to do?

I can't think of any particular type of scene that I have difficulty with.

Do you think Jeff was sincere in his efforts to romance Amy or was it just manipulation on his part to get a story?

Of course I think that he was genuine rather than just manipulating her for the story. There's plenty of reasons. She's passionate, funny, unique. I don't feel like Jeff did anything wrong. It's a delicate situation of course.

If acting was not your option for a career. What do you think you would have done instead in it's place?

I remember coming out of college and I had made moves in the direction of working as a cameraman. I thought I'd probably end up doing that, and would have liked to. Something along those lines. Whether I'd still be doing it, 28 years later, like I am now with acting, I don't know.

what's the best piece of advice you've ever gotten?

I remember my father once told me, about acting, which he knows nothing about, to "represent the epitomy of reality," that's how he put it. I thought that was good advice, for an actor, from a law professor.

Is your character someone you can relate to, or have had similar ideals with?

I think a lot of people can relate to Jeff because he acts on what he believes in, and to accomplish anything, you need to take action. So he's a good role model in a lot of ways. I liked him for that reason myself.

Do you think Laura dern's character's motive for justice is naive?

My reading of it is this. There seems to be an element of Amy of wanting to be recognized, acknowledged, and a lot of people feel that, maybe we all do at some time. Her motives are mixed, but even then, they're coming from an understandable position.

Boxers or Briefs?

To be precise, boxer briefs.

Thanks for taking the time to join us today! Do you have any final words for your fans?

If any of them, like myself, haven't seen the last episode of the season, be sure to watch. I've read the script and it's really terrific. I'm looking forward to it as much as anybody.

Daniel Radcliffe might Play Igor in 'Frankenstein'

NEWS -CINEMA-MUSIC-CELEBRITY-WORLD

via glooce

Daniel Radcliffe is in final negotiations to star in Frankenstein, Fox’s revisionist take on the classic horror story by Mary Shelley.

Paul McGuinan is directing the project, which has a script by Chronicle scribe Max Landis and is being produced by John Davis.

The casting goes against type for the usually clean cut Harry Potter star as Radcliffe will play Igor, the hunchback. He is described as pathologically dirty, with long hair and wearing old clown clothes. (A circus tone permeates much of the project, according to sources.)

A late summer production start in the UK is being planned.

Lost alum Jorge Garcia is heading to CBS.

The actor, fresh off a guest gig on ABC's Once Upon a Time, has joined the cast of the network's drama pilot The Ordained, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

Garcia will play Carlos, the law firm's staff investigator who is Tom's main ally and only friend at the office. He's an easygoing hotdog-eating guy unlike the rest of the suits at the office who uses unorthodox methods to get the job done and often does so with levity and humor.

Journalist/author Lisa Takeuchi Cullen will pen the script for CBS Television Studios and will executive produce alongside Frank Marshall, Larry Shuman and A.B. Fischer. RJ Cutler will helm the pilot, with Robert Zotnowski on board as a co-EP.

Repped by APA and Kritzer Levine, Garcia's recent credits also include Fox's Alcatraz and guest gigs on Californication, Fringe and How I Met Your Mother.

Shia LaBeouf Plagiarizes ‘How to Be a Man’ From Esquire; Author Reacts

NEWS -CINEMA-MUSIC-CELEBRITY-WORLD

via glooce

To explain why he quit the Broadway play Orphans, problem child Shia LaBeouf decided to tweet his dramatic e-mails with the cast, including Alec Baldwin. The centerpiece of the exchange, which LaBeouf shared along with grandiose (attributed!) quotes from David Mamet and Mark Twain, are the 26-year-old's musings on what it is to be a man: "My dad was a drug dealer. He was a shit human. But he was a man," LaBeouf begins. "He taught me how to be a man. What i know of men Alec is - A man is good at his job. Not his work, not his avocation, not his hobby. Not his career. His job." A man, apparently, also takes what he pleases, because the lines are lifted from Tom Chiarella's "What Is a Man?" published by Esquire in 2009.

LaBeouf goes on in men's magazine voice: "A man owns up. That's why Mark McGwire is not a man. A man grasps his mistakes. He lays claim to who he is, and what he was, whether he likes them or not. Some mistakes, though, he lets pass if no one notices. Like dropping the steak in the dirt." The actor, playing editor, doesn't use Chiarella's entire piece, but the parts he does are taken word for word. Here's the whole e-mail. (To sum up his exposition on the issue, LaBeouf wrote on Twitter, "invent nothing, deny nothing, speak up, stand up, stay out of school." Noted, man.)

Chiarella told Daily Intelligencer that his editor had read him part of LaBeouf's message over the phone. "I said, 'That sounds good,' because I thought he had written it. Then he said, 'They're your words!'" Chiarella explained. "I'm assuming Shia Googled it." The article does show up in searches for "what is a man" and "how to be a man."

"I won't pass judgement on the guy, but I will say this: It's a very tough assignment. You're giving people words they might lean on someday. This is not the type of leaning I had in mind," he said. "I have to have a sense of humor. You write that and then everybody in the world either likes it or finds it the most pretentious piece of shit ever. So I hate having to look at the comments again."

"I hate that it's associated with his drug dealer father," he added. "My father was a good guy!"

Asked what a real man would do in this situation, Chiarella thought about it for a quick moment. "A man who's been plagiarized must be graceful and grateful that your words have power," he said. "A man who plagiarized just owes an acknowledgment and a one-sentence apology. But I don't expect it."

Zachary Quinto Probably Not Returning To 'American Horror Story' Season 3

NEWS -CINEMA-MUSIC-CELEBRITY-WORLD

via glooce

Zachary Quinto's "American Horror Story" character  was one of the  stars of the show's second second "Asylum." But in an interview with HuffPost blogger Shannon O'Connor, the "Star Trek" star revealed that he probably won't be returning to "American Horror Story" for its third season.

"I haven't had any conversations about coming back, so at this point I don't think I will be part of the third season as no one has mentioned it to me and I know that they have been making other announcements for the cast. Which is fine, when I signed on for the second season, Ryan [Murphy] and I talked about it being a one year commitment and I think just where I am in my work and what I want to accomplish I think it is good to have a little flexibility and a little bit of freedom. So, at this point I don't really have any plans to go back, but from what I've heard and what I know is maybe going to happen a little bit, I am really excited to see the characters that Lily [Rabe], Sarah [Paulson], Jessica [Lange] and Evan [Peters] all play. I know Frances Conroy is coming back, which I think is amazing and I think it is going to be a different world all together and knowing Ryan as I do I think that it's only going to be more exciting and more surprising than anything we have seen so far. I look forward to watching it."

Bradley Cooper and Omar Sy in Talks to Star in Derek Cianfrance’s Comedy CHEF

    NEWS -CINEMA-MUSIC-CELEBRITY-WORLD

    via glooce

Quite the “crowd-pleasing” team-up is in the works for director Derek Cianfrance’s (Blue Valentine) new film Chef.  Two actors from two incredibly popular 2012 films (Silver Linings Playbook and The Intouchables) are looking to topline the project, a Variety reports that Bradley Cooper and Omar Sy are in talks to lead the culinary comedy.  Cooper will play “a disgraced chef who, after losing his Michelin-rated restaurant in Paris, decides to bring his crew back together in an attempt to create the best restaurant ever in London.”  Cooper has experience in the world of the culinary arts, as he previously starred on the short-lived Fox sitcom Kitchen Confidential.

Production on the Weinstein Company project isn’t expected to begin for some time, and neither Cooper nor Sy have officially signed on.  It sounds like an interesting change of pace for Cianfrance, though, coming off the rather dark Blue Valentine and the upcoming epic crime drama The Place Beyond the Pines, which also stars Cooper.

'The Impossible' actor Ewan McGregor has admitted he worried about growing old when he turned 40, but has now embraced his age. Ewan McGregor is worried about getting old.

'The Impossible' actor has revealed he was in a panic about turning 40 in 2011, but has now calmed down and embraced his older and wiser self.

In an interview with Italian magazine IO Donna, he said: ''When I turned 40 I started worrying about my age and getting older, but now that I'm over that I'm content and relaxed with ageing... It's OK.''

The 41-year-old Scottish actor has four daughters, Clara, 15, Esther Rose, 11, and adopted Jamiyan, 11, and Anouk, two, with his wife Eve Mavrakis, and he has been following his parents example when it comes to raising them.

Josh Hutcherson Reveals His Celebrity Crush

      NEWS -CINEMA-MUSIC-CELEBRITY-WORLD

      via glooce

Josh Hutcherson has revealed his celebrity crush, and it's not Jennifer Lawrence or any of his other Catching Fire costars (although he's reportedly very bromantic with Liam Hemsworth and Sam Claflin).

Instead the Hunger Games hottie is crushing on another butt-kicking babe, lovely Avatar star Zoe Saldana. Who knew he was into cougar-hunting?

The much-older object of Josh's affection recently broke up with Bradley Cooper, but Josh will be disappointed to know that she's already been spotted out and about with a mystery man. Maybe Josh should work on scoring a role as a little green man in Star Trek 2 or Avatar 2 so that he can get close to the woman who makes up half of everyone's favorite big, blue alien couple. At the very least, he should throw on a pair of antennae or Spock ears since Zoe is obviously into extraterrestrials.

It's odd that Josh Hutcherson has a crush on Zoe Saldana since his Catching Fire costar was recently linked to Bradley Cooper. Brad denied rumors that he and Jennifer Lawrence are dating, but how weird would it be if Josh hooked up with Zoe and Jen hooked up with Brad? There would definitely be no double dates going on there.

Josh has also been dealing with a slew of dating rumors—he's been linked to Selena Gomez, his ex-girlfriend Lanchen Mihalic, and Carrie Diaries star Chloe Bridges.

So since he's quite the ladies man, who knows? Maybe he actually has a chance at hooking Zoe.

Shia LaBeouf tried Acid for Movie Role

      NEWS -CINEMA-MUSIC-CELEBRITY-WORLD

      shia

In his new filmNecessary Death of Charlie Countryman,Shia LaBeouf plays a character who trips on acid. To make sure his depiction was accurate, LaBeouf dropped acid and filmed himself -- and then asked costarEvan Rachel Woodfor pointers!

During an interview withMTV at Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah for the mafia film, LaBeouf, 26, admitted he was "scared" to a play character who trips on acid because he'd "never done acid before." So, he decided to try it out for real and film his trip.

"I remember sending Evan tapes," he said. "I remember trying to conjure this and sending tapes and Evan being like, 'Yeah, that's good, but that's not, but this is, but that ain't.'"

"Not like I would know about these drugs!" Wood, 25, who is currently expecting her first child with husband Jamie Bell, interjected.

"Not like she's the expert on set," LaBeouf explained. "I'm just saying you reach out to friends and you sort of gauge where you're at. So I was sending tapes around. I'd get fifty percents from people, and that starts creeping me out, and I got really nervous. Towards the end, I was like . . ."

"It was spot on," Wood told her costar.

"That's what propels things like that -— being nervous that you're not going to get it right or it's not going to be honest," LaBeouf said. "You subject yourself to things and you can't choose your thoughts. You can't choose your feelings. But you can really influence them, and I just try to influence myself as much as possible."

James Franco Traces Gay Rumors Back To High School Bullying

      NEWS -CINEMA-MUSIC-CELEBRITY-WORLD

      via glooce

Much has been said, written, speculated and fantasized about in regards to James Franco’s sexuality. And while queer fare like Interior. Leather Bar and kink only stoke the flame, so to speak, it’s nothing that the actor-director-[insert other title here] isn’t accustomed to.

“In high school these girls got mad at me and so they spread this rumor that I was having a gay relationship with one of my closest friends,” he told MTV News . “And they even made up a little dance they would do in the girl’s locker room about me being gay. I still don’t know what the dance was.”

Nowadays, however, Franco doesn’t let the rumors get to him, since he’s got bigger, gayer fish to fry.

“It wasn’t like it was anything new,” he said. “And in fact, it wasn’t something that frightened me, like if people think that, it’s fine. I really don’t care.”

Benedict Cumberbatch on his snug Star Trek 2 outfit: “You can almost see what religion I am”

      NEWS -CINEMA-MUSIC-CELEBRITY-WORLD

Benedict Cumberbatch discussed his little Cumber-batch's starring role in Star trek Into Darkness, thanks to the skintight suit his villainous character John Harrison wears. Courtesy of The Sun:

"The costumes look great. Some of them were very cumbersome and heavy, but some were very snug. You can almost see what religion I am."

That sound you just heard was 100,000 erotic Benedict Cumberbatch fan fic writers fainting in pure joy. But his statement does beg the question: What exactly are we going to be seeing in the movie? Will we get the uncut edition? Will there be a director's cut later on? If the latter, are Cumberbatch and J.J. Abrams still on speaking terms, or did things get too awkward?

BERLIN: "Django Unchained" and "Titanic" star Leonardo DiCaprio said on Friday he was planning to take a significant break from filming and concentrate on his environmental campaigning.

In an interview with Germany's mass circulation daily Bild, the 38-year-old American actor said: "I am a bit drained. I'm now going to take a long, long break. I've done three films in two years and I'm just worn out."

"I would like to improve the world a bit. I will fly around the world doing good for the environment," added DiCaprio, in comments published in German.

DiCaprio is currently starring in Quentin Tarantino's blood-soaked spaghetti Western tribute "Django Unchained," which picked up two Golden Globes on Sunday.

He has also recently filmed "The Great Gatsby", directed by Baz Luhrmann and Martin Scorsese's "The Wolf of Wall Street."

He burnished his green credentials in the Bild interview, saying: "My roof is covered with solar panels. My car is electric. A normal person does not drive more than 50 kilometres (31 miles) a day. That can be done with a plug."

MilkPEP Joins Super Bowl Lineup, Preps Ad With Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson

A broadcast known mostly for beer and soda is getting something different this year: a tall glass of milk.

The Milk Processor Education Program, aka MilkPEP, is preparing its first Super Bowl commercial for the Feb. 3 telecast on CBS, The New York Times reports.

The 30-second spot, from Deutsch in New York, will star Dwayne Johnson, aka, The Rock. Directed by Peter Berg of Friday Night Lights fame, the ad will reportedly show the lengths to which a father will go to make sure his kids have milk for their cereal in the morning. The production company behind the spot is Pony Show Entertainment.

Thematically, that sounds reminiscent of the recent MilkPEP spot with Salma Hayak in which the actress arrives home from a fancy night out to find she has no milk for the morning—so, she sets out on a wild goose chase to find some.

The Super Bowl spot will be a crazier affair, however. Photos taken this week on the Long Beach, Calif., set of the commercial show a lion, muscle men, stilt walkers and clowns.

MilkPEP is best known for its milk-mustache campaign. It licenses the "Got milk?" tagline from the California Milk Processor Board, which runs its own separate marketing campaigns
